~ In Precedents of Time ~

Reminiscing our past, what has been the best moments of life's journey?

Sans money and with loads of time, your true self was at its best. With no accountability and responsibility and no one to answer, you were a true "The king of good times”. Those playful moments when you used to spend majority of your time with childlike precedents and hitting your nearby playground not to return for hours - enshrined in mud and with reprieve of hunger and thirst, the day was spent with all its effervescence. The little pocket money now looks better than our pay cheques and the way we used to splurge on it, the way we want, the way we loved…

We had our key comrades with whom we used to share our idiosyncratic ideas and plan our time for the next day. The quirky fights on menial issues, the eclectic glance and peep through one’s houses and a shout to call our gully friends to play were the norm of those days.

School came to be a big detest, getting up in the wee hours of day (specially in foggy winter mornings), it became a humongous effort to leave the quilt (as it still is..). What let us all get going was the wait of time when the final school bell rang, and we call came to our naughtiest best – getting back in dirt of clothes and getting the usual reprimand of our grandfathers / grandmothers!

Life as it slowly rolls its plans changes true nature of our daily living, but what cannot change is the esoteric childlike qualities that we still carry and would love to do -some do it as bold initiatives in front of crowd and many in their hidden confines.

With many of us having kids in a milieu , now we observe our true childish behavior – the vernacular talk we do with our little ones, our playful gestures and drama on which our kids laugh and make merry – It is you in the real sense that makes you live apart from the mad rush of existence of today!

Thinking now of those golden pedestals of time went past, we all wish if we can we all live in those moments of history. With many of us loosing contacts with our best pals, we can only remember and cherish those golden era.

Probably, with all of us, those moments must have put in an edible mark on our memories – never to be erased until we leave this planet, those memories will depart with us!

~ The Missing Ones ~

Times will change for better or not - Souls living with you now will be gone forever in mist of unknown realms...

Missing them shall be your only prerogative and acceptability, never to come back , the memories shall be everlasting till you leave ...

Sitting at the meadows of midnight the thoughts come and go, tears of joys and remorse flow....

One day will vanish in the footprints of time and long would be cherished or reprimanded as history for generations to come and to be understood that these thoughts came from the other side....may be you are missing someone so special with whom you had lived with once , now that they have gone to eternity, their thoughts live....

Love is all that shall last long to be remembered, the frames of time will cast you in different paths till you meet again, dont know where...Sometimes it feels that was that a dream that I lived or is this a dream which I am living today...

The answers seems inevitable for whom the journey continues till one final day answers will be disclosed to make you contended for next role....

~ The Change Within ~

Starting with a small change in day to day life brings you the zeal of satisfaction and passion for living. It instills a sense of commitment and imparts a motivational decree in your existence - Considering the stale times we all are living with, home-bound and with a limited set of people to talk and live with. It is certainly not the way we have been programmed to live in a seclusion of thoughts and actions, we indeed are a social being and are bound to move out of confines of our dwellings.

Turning to a part-time rancounter was the best bet I could have made with my abilities to write and understand the vast possibilities of doing things whilst I live. Observing the vicissitudes of life around me, the people I meet and have made friends with - which otherwise would not have been possible in our day to day hectic schedule. Observances about life around you gives a certain degree of perceptibility about your limited existence on this planet.

Busy as we all are, not bounding ourselves to major purpose of life for which we were made to born - may be against our wishes into families and to parents we probably didn’t knew. Start your life with a small disruption - a change which you want to incorporate within your daily chores and see for yourself the immense gratification it brings as your day ends!

Considering myself as best example of mundane living, I found a purpose to express my observations of life and thought of jotting words into sentences as day passed -  Starting as a time-pass moment , soon it is becoming a daily habit for me. How many of you will read if I don’t write it? Starting with small change in our lives, the build-up continues with time - that is the law of Nature - the intelligence throws small gifts of suspense towards us and with each passing day, the dream develops itself into a full-fledged reality.

You need to observe the small miracles which keep on happening in your daily existence and adhere to a greater intelligence which may be trying to communicate with you - may be via a clandestine talent which might take you to extremes of satisfaction and popularity one day - Who knows, as these testing times pass on  and the world clings to virtual world of internet.,your new found passion or a time killing  moment can  bring you moments of new found friendships and laurels – the same which you are just doing whilst you read this with great poise!

~ Mitwa – My Loving Friend ~

A dog is man’s best friend – this idiom holds good nowadays for what I experience in my daily life. There are lot of canines which roam around freely in open streets of Delhi, we ignore many and may be shoo them off at a minor instance for our purpose of safety.  Since childhood I have been born and bought on a thought to cohabit with pets – we had many during my adolescent years and it is then knowingly – unknowingly that I started to caress good feelings about them – they became a part of family within not time. Now that time has gone and after their unfortunate demise , we didn’t had a chance or an opportunity to have bred one , though my love for dogs has never died down and remains deep inside me.

Recently, out of nowhere a canine started to visit our office – though quite intriguing, he sits on our pavement and also tries to sneak inside the open space between the glass door! The first time he came to our office- he made a long howl as a signal to call us and make his presence felt.

This inquisition of his made me open the glass door to see him wagging his tail out of some expectations. At first I was not much convinced with his loving glance but as seconds passed I was melted to the core and became his good friend – though the first day our meeting just lasted some seconds but it created a valuable bond of trust amongst ourselves. The next day I had an unexpected visitor already lining on our office door – “Mitwa” as I named him at that very moment – his wagging of tail was a clear signal of his ecstasy of seeing me again.

The uniqueness which captivates me towards this canine is his different looks – His seeing me with a sense of love and belongingness precipitates into a feeling of compassion towards him – May be he had some previous life bond with me or a “Prarabh” which we both have together. As far as his age, he seems to be about 12-14 years old – a statement I make, seeing his whitish beard and his rough nails. Mitwa roams alone and doesn’t seem to gel with other canines in that area – Quite often I have seen him posturing inside an ATM stall sheepishly resting to impending customers’ awe – many of whom may not enter the ATM seeing a dog making it as his resting paradise!

As I think about him now and then when I take a resting break, my eyes ponder over his whereabouts , just a sense of looking towards him give me an internal calmness- now that I have found a friend of a lifetime – his disposition bring me smile on everyone’s face who sees him and feeds him with loving care. His loving revert and a bond which we at marketplace share with Mitwa is a testimony and sense of reverence to our Great Mahatma – Gandhiji who once said “Greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

~ The Great Wanderer ~

He wanders around the aisle of market space - not seeking any attention towards passersby. Sometimes he sits quietly in his own 'Open Den' - with no rooftop or sidewalls, it is an open ended pathway which begets open invitation to all. Many shopkeepers set the tone for his morning walk as they bring for him cheeky leftovers packed in small plastic bags – I have seen him opening his “Morning Breakfast” with much ecstasy as the night hunger takes him over!

Many a times I have seen him just sitting in deep contemplation and talking to his own self – tattling words of prudence – a mere eye contact is contagious and he is quick to start talking to you in his own sense of talk and gesture. You would not be able to understand much of his reverberations and his unique style of talking!

“Kahan ke ho?” (Where are you from?) I asked him the other day – at first his reticence made me believe his inability to understand my question or a sense of being but on a close contemplation I was able to educate myself that he didn’t found it prudent to reply to my question – May be of his ego or a sense of un-belongingness to my aura. Repeating my question he calls me and nod his head and asks “Kya pooch rahe ho?” (What are you asking?) – Again repeat my sayings for the third time and now he dons the hat of a conversationalist and thus speaks:

“Main Jaunpur ka hoon. – Aap kahan se ho?” (“I am from Jaunpur, from where you are?”)

Not expecting the revert I am quick to respond –“Mein Delhi se hoon.” (I am from Delhi.)

My nameless friend thus throws the second question in quick succession “Kya kartey ho idhar – Roz aatey ho, Mein aapko Dekhta hoon.” (What you do? I see you come here every day.”)

I answer him back “Haanji, maine yahan apne office aata hoon, computer ka kaam karta hoon” ( Yes I come here every day to my office and I work on a computer” – I could have given him a bit elaboration, but that would not have elicit interest in him as I thought so!)

Suddenly, his demeanor changes and he moves to go to his makeshift seat on the pavement and picks up the broom and starts to clean his surroundings around – After 2-3 min of cleansing, he takes out a package from his coat pocket intriguing enough to let me know that it’s his “Lunch Time.” The hint is absorbed and I leave him alone now to have a taste of his sumptuous feat!

As I stand on the other side of pavement keenly observing him going through his turmoil of daily living, varied thoughts encompass me – there are a zillion questions I wanted to ask this nameless man – the first being “ What was his name?” – though he didn’t gave me an opportunity to converse with him much but I am a bit elated that I have at least formed a conversation bond with this soul – may be next time I am lucky enough to be befriending him more and having a cup of tea and formulating a bond of humanity which many alike have not done with him – till then I wait with an eager opportunity with passing time.

~ Life – It Sustains ~

From a zilch, if a chance is given to you to groom life “Unnaturally” can you do it? Yes, this has been done with utmost care – the habitat provided was in line with what the soul could have got inside the womb, knowingly or unknowingly life breeds – it is just about providing the same plateau of resources which it wants which otherwise it would have got quite naturally - rest is self-sustainability.

Love is all what life demands, care is what it wants next, resources can be arranged and thus with sense of positive attitude combined with patience – you get the result which you had hoped for!
