Life's Misses...

 So, you have missed out in life after much trying and didn't get what you had aspired for? ..You pacify your heartbreaks by telling yourself that this is what Destiny had stored for you....Your friends did well in life in job , career and in personal space and you felt left out in many of these fronts, inspite of putting in your best foot forward - The icing on the cake being that when you introspect your life, you cannot figure out what went wrong - the decisions you took were in the best interest and the outcome favoured you!

As the years pass, your will realise that all the 'Misses' and 'Failures' were part of that subtle design which was meant for you explicitly and that was unique for you. Acceptance is the way out of this drama of life; it was always and will be the eternal guidance that would tread your life although - your cleverness will not fructify in the long run.

There are many examples of such thinking - there has been very miraculous escapes through the clutches of Death - just because you missed that 'Important' flight and that was due to a pathetic traffic jam which made you reach the Airport late and you were not able to 'Check-In' on time and were thus denied the boarding pass - soon to realise that the unfortunate Plane just got Crashed consuming ALL the victims - You sit back and profusely 'THANK HIM' from the core of the heart for saving his life  - All of your trial and tribulations surely has a purpose - even your super success as that is the responsibility and pedestal given to you to act in a way to help downtrodden souls... as Who has given to you also knows how to take it back…

If you live consciously day by day, you will start to have the tinge of life and its behaviour... the grand design will start giving you messages, it is you who should be qualifies to receive them and act accordingly and with a true purpose.... Your 'Burnt Toast' in the morning has a life purpose and a underline message... It has not happened just out of the blue ...!!!

I still remember the "Challenger Story of a Teacher" who was the only civilian selected by NASA to board and fly to space  for the "Teacher in Space" program in 1985 - as a human behaviour the teacher broadcasted the news to her near and dear ones but at the last moment she was relegated as a backup and denied the opportunity to fly to space and watched quite humbly the launch of the Challenger space craft towards the skies - Minutes later all the 7 cosmonauts were blown up in space after 73 seconds of its launch - one cannot gauge her predicament after going through this episode and what she might be thinking about all the cribbing’s and blame-game - Life certainly had a different purpose for her -

It is like this that things happen in our lives - subtly and under the table and without any noise… 

So always oblige your failures and delays and denials... things meant or you will fall in your lap as the time comes and if you qualify, things will happen naturally...You will be made to realise when you live life consciously and with awareness.... the parallel world always reaches out to you and sends those subtle happenings and messages...it is you who has to humbly accept those.... Happy living...!!!

~ Embracing Change...~

 In today’s fast changing world of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data , robotics and what not ..all the jargons are manifesting in our real lives and forcing us to change and adapt to their percept…. your world was always about change and over a period of time, we realize that the change should always be welcomed with open arms and positive affirmations…as they say “ The Change is the only Constant…” that will live with you till eternity….

Many of us are not adept in the change that is warrant of the time, because we don’t want to leave our cozy zones…we are so used to performing same jobs, following the same routine that has seeped into our daily lives…any hiccup or change that should happen is not acceptable to our living – for that we need to adapt and learn new things…we have to teach us the new dynamics of living and working and leave far being what we have been doing since ages…. For those who quickly see this coming, they take the advantage of this happening, for the rest, they loose their footing and are left over….

Certainly, we have been oblivious to the life that we have lived so far…change was and has been always the norm of the day,,, you were once a toddler and then entered school and college after some years… then came a time when you went for higher studies and finally landed up in a job and got married and became a parent… it all happened in front of you. 

You were not asked if this can be done…it just happened as a natural phenomenon of a human life…you didn’t warrant it nor could you stop your growing up….phase by phase things happened and it so happened for good…

Life is progressing in its own pace and will do so…change being the inevitable eventuality will happen ..you want it or not…the best thing you can do is to embrace this change and be in line with what the universe demands….the signal and the tinge of the other world is always right and beneficial. It is just that we don’t understand that change as we don’t like it either…as a human psychology, no one wants to leave his /her comfort zone and embrace the change….

Simply observe the time when you were born and have reached the stage you are in today… slowly and steadily time makes things happen…now that you look yourself in the mirror… you see the adulthood in you or may be approaching age…. Change happened but in silence…that is the beauty of it… it is happening and it will…as someone has beautifully articulated …” Change is the only Constant…!!!”

As Luck would have it...

Success is 80% luck and rest hard work…You being at your rightful place…. Be at the right time where opportunities are waiting to be taken by You only and nobody else…

Even if you are brimming with talent and education and what not if you don’t get any opportunity to showcase it all goes down the drain…. You need an eventful and lucky opportunity to showcase your latent potential and make your mark on the global landscape for you to be recognized and felt like that you have actually arrived …!!!! 

Going by many successful entrepreneurs and other big names in the World…if you would read between the lines and what they have learnt from their life over a span of team…almost everyone will parrot one line “Luck had a Major role in my achievements!” – It remains a holy grail for many, as many of us are not that exceptional ‘Lucky’ to have achieve major success in life…

Many of us remain like ‘Common people’ even if we slog through the day…as that special tinge is missing…. As they say “Tea looks good depending on the amount of sugar and other ingredients it has” the other “Ingredient’ in life is that ‘Divine spirit and touch or Mercy” which is needed for us to achieve that brilliance….

SO is there a ‘Da Vinci Code’ to attract Luck … the Karma theory here suffice – “Do Good and dharmic Karma and you will get the returns” … “do wrong towards someone and you will have to suffer…” this postulate has been the spinal cord of the “Hindu Philosophy” and is eternal to one’s living…

Quite surely “Someone” out there is watching all of our acts and have made the ‘Rulebook’ for our earthly living – else there is no optimum reasoning for many of us living sedentary lifestyle with best of the degrees and effort, while many others with none of this are making merry. Internally they know it very well that they didn’t deserve all the success and adulation and there are much better souls who are sincere and faithful towards achieving their goals but have not been successful…no pragmatic explanation satiates this philosophy….

So if you want to have HIS divine Mercy …do your work with a tinge of conscious thinking – that you don’t overstep someone’s boundary for your personal goals, Parents are living Gods…respect their living and dignity and revere them for they made you come to life when you were literally nobody…Have that cognition that you are NOT the DOER and that someone is there overlooking your acts …. These simplicities when implemented in letter and spirit would make you feel life on a different tangent…believe you me, life is not so complex that what we have made out to be…overburdening us with false expectations and never ending aspirations….Leave thoughtfully and rest will be taken care of…HE is surely There… and will always be…!!!

Gratitude is Important

Have you ever counted your blessings and been considerate to consider how fortunate you are in your present life? Things we always crib and criticise about for “Have Not’s” and for those you tried your exemplary best but didn’t able to achieve….

You need to take a 360-degree holistic approach to ponder and process these thoughts…one side view of your life cannot be a mitigation to arrive at a definitive conclusion.

If you are hale and hearty, healthy and in right frame of mind, even if you are not well accomplished in your career , business or earning but able to somehow balance things out – consider yourself to be the luckiest being on this planet – for the matter I have seen many ‘Successful Professionals’ cribbing at the peak of their career and have lost their health – having BP , Diabetes , are in depression of losing their sought-after job and accomplishments which they so famously announced when they achieve it…internally they know, they have lost the plot and are more unsuccessful than the rest of the beings but cannot elucidate their predicament due to societal pressure – talk to them in person and they will ‘Pour their heart Out’ as to how they feel to be living under stigma of a broken relationship or a divorce, health issues and kids not listening to them and in fact abusing them… the loneliness creeping in with no Real friend for guidance and support BUT many minions  pumping your ego….

If you have caring family with a loveable wife, kids and you live with your mother and father ..consider yourself living in Grace…as this is a rare sight now a days, people are preferring nuclear families and don’t want to accommodate their elderly parents in their ‘Modern Life’ – oblivious of the fact that once they were too young to stand on their own feet and were taken care of in all spirit by these very parents who now are themselves grown old and cannot take care of themselves… this is the biggest irony of our society in current times….but its happening…

Finally , if you have no debt and are living an ‘Emi-free’ life, and have no major repayments lined up for decades…consider yourself to be thankful towards your elderly….for their sweat and blood has made you the man free from a debt trap – as most of the working professionals have engulfed themselves for 20-30 year marriage to the Banks….and have gone bananas …surely they want super luxury lifestyle and big flashy homes to showcase their success to all and sundry who hardly care about their living…. Just a ‘Vow’ moment for them and life moves on…. The decade ahead burden of paying high cost emi’s rest with poor soul who ends up paying more than the ‘Double’ amount to the bank to suffix his loan….

These are basic tenets of nowadays living …. If you have somehow steered away from all these anomalies of life…you are lucky, have gratitude towards Life and the Divine…. Consider you may not but that is and will remain an internal truth…a time will come when surely you will realise this….till then…”Happy Living…!”

~ After All...Its Life...~

The Complexities of life are simple…it is us who have made it uniquely complex to a phase where we can’t handle it…

Sit down a bit and go through the day – ponder how you start and plan your day…many a time you would have made big aspirational plans and achievements which you want to accomplish…just out of the blue…

As night falls and you get tired to the brim, you contemplate your whole living past 24 hours…what you had planned and what you actually realise or did… you will be flabbergasted many a time to see the variance in the results… That’s the summary of life in a day…!

Well, living over a considerable number of days in my life, what I have summarized…. Live situations as awareness….and accomplish them day by day...not grandeur plans…not big hopes and aspirations…Afterall , you were never here to accomplish BIG FAT things…but to remain happy and what all is needed to do it….it is not ONLY titles, money, power , fame but family time, health, a soothing tea cuppa, sitting idle watching nature, birds , flowers , street dogs, cats…they are all around you to make you realise…that .. when you would be gone and your time is up …it is just these fond memories which you will take along…your karma will accompany your soul to the next birth….Just remember You are who you are in this birth. Your titles , fame , accomplishments are here for this time not for eternity…

Life’s not that complex and complicated…we have made it to be…as we have to make a mount hill  first and then make efforts to achieve it throughout our life…. As I give a real life example of a man I know who is very fond of playing soccer and wants to accomplish a feat of hitting every goal for his team…. As we play, we finally give him a pass to just shoot at the nets…instead he takes the ball away from the goalpost and then tries to hit with a 45 Degree angle like Ronaldo only to be missed!!!!

That’s all what we do…. Life’s simplicity is not very complex… live it with all the resources you have…your family ,friends, acquaintances… animals …what not… and see for yourself your happiness quotient makes a tangible mark in your living… your face shines with all ear to ear smiles always and in all situation…as you now have started to live in tandem with nature’s laws and have correctly understood your presence as to who you really are and for what purpose and that is to be Happy…..!!!

~ The World We Live... ~

 We live in an uncertain world where everything is uncertain and ephemeral – your best of efforts may go in vain without any applause and recognition.

Anxiety is now inborn in our living – we are seldom calm and in comatose state of our living , fearful of our future and what lays ahead – so what is the problem that engulfs us which make our life pitiable? – it’s our overthinking! 

We create scenarios which in all likelihood would never happen – in all probability, we create demons in our heads and engulf ourselves in continuous negativity – to the extent that we take drastic decisions – even ending our lives!

Sit down with a calm mind and ponder over your past, what you thought and what happened … you would realise that more than 90% of the happenings didn’t happen as according to your thoughts – the amazing part of our cognitive mind is that we think worst for our future ..what if this doesn’t happen or what if that doesn’t materialize….

Quite inversely to this, we never are exceptional optimistic about our future outcomes…

We ration our positive thoughts but fill our cup till the brim for our negatives…that is nature of the mind. It pre-empts negative thoughts and creates a world around them.

Many of my friends who are at pinnacle of their career are facing bouts of anxiety and uncertainty – even after having achieved much, the level of fear and opaqueness of future takes them to bouts of anxiety – this is the cruel living of today – nothing is surely certain, alas it never was!

The only way to get out of this whirlpool is “Bhakti” and prayers and complete and a whole heart submission to God…as HE knows the best what is going to happen – though it seems a cliched thought but that is what has gratified me! Your best of the plans and efforts will go in vain and you remain clueless of its outcome – inversely, your half-hearted efforts reap stupendous results with all praise by your peers and bosses – that is the irony or rather funny part of life…We all have to live with it…

Just observing the people’s life around, you, you will see that it is all happening without one’s expectation and control…job losses, business failures, stock mart downturn , relationship failures, health standard declining…everything beyond one’s control.

But, once you sit and start to meditate on HIS form – whosoever you pray or whatever religion or sect you follow, immerse yourself in all unison – the peace and the calm that follows will give you eternal happiness and your zeal would be uplifted to do new and creative things – The adrenaline rush would turn you to be a go-getter and you will always feel “Someone” or “Some Power” or a “Guardian Angel”  guiding you and steering your life for a better purpose.

“Life is like this and would function in its own trails and travels and you have to adjust yourself with time…” – this noble advice about living life has ever been a staunch day to day philosophy and sooner or later many of you will fall in line with this idiom of wisdom…till then …Live Free…

~ MIND your Business...~

The Mind is a great generator of thoughts – it is doing what it is programmed for – your thoughts are originated because of situations around you and your current circumstances.

Your thoughts won’t let you sleep and would keep you on toes – sometimes you will feel good out of nothing and sometimes you will feel depressed – that too with no reason.

The mind generates thoughts and you cook them to ripe to your fears and anxiety – In the current tumultuous world, when nothing can be predicted and things change within seconds, your thoughts get breeder with these scenarios.

So, the basic question is “How to control this razzmatazz of your mind?” – as your mind is doing the right thing by creating thoughts…. But the quality of thoughts is upto you … I mean you can create good thoughts by being in situations which create positivity – for that you need to position yourself into situations which are positive and life changing… situations that brings happiness and contentment.

Degrading and negative thoughts would arise from your negative thinking which in itself will arise from the situations you are living or hope for – such is the mind’s nature…the way you see your life , the archetypal thinking patterns will make you the person you visualize and also put yourself in situations which you have thought – In simple sober language , it is called “Manifestation” – what you strongly think is what the physical matter gives you – what you reign in your mind is what is in front of you in particular…

There have been so many examples in our lives – all we need is to sit back and think about such examples which the cosmic intelligence has manifested as per our thoughts – your success and failures, those friendships and heartbreaks, the loss of your near and dear ones ( again arising out of your worst fears!) and much more – you have manifested those!

Mind in itself is a great manifestation in the human body as it not only controls your life but also life ahead ..which you are projecting and want it to move a certain way – it gives you “Hints” by way of “Intuition” Or a “Hunch” about the happenings and miss happenings bound to occur…

How you connect with your intuitive mind is altogether a different ball game – there is a very delicate line to decipher the difference between intuition and absurd thinking – for the latter you have a fully conscious mind functioning for a particular happening , on the other hand “Intuition” is something which does not come from rational mind but “Just a beacon of thought” what pops up out of nowhere – but in actuality is the message from Cosmic intelligence – very few souls understand and observe such divine messages and it is through practice that one can attain a sanity of thoughts and actions !

Remember, Mind is all elusive and will always keep you on toes, even if you sleep – for it will give you thoughts in form of dreams – again which are intangible thoughts of your mind – many a time which are reverse manifestation of your physical life – example a friend you might have met recently or a incident that might have happen – this will propagate in your mind as a dream !

So next time you dream or think , try to observe the positivity of situations , be in reality or dreams – the cosmic intelligence is smart enough to give you leeway to act for your betterment – trust HIS Plan… if HE has sent you in human form …there surely must be a purport to your living – the only catch is …you have it find it what it is 😊…!!!

~ Let it Go...~

Why Do you want to find logic and explanation in everything and every happening in your life… Let things be in his domain and Command…let HIM do things what he deems fit…at the end of the day you will realize that it had to be like that….and it was destined for your betterment…

You make plans and try to control the things and outcomes of your actions – you want things to function and behave your way but it is just not everytime that you shall win or your all wants and desires be materialised….

A quote from Bhagwat gita suffices this percept -

“Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana, ma karma phala hetur bhur ma te sango ’stvakarmani.”

This famous proponent forms the foundation stone of the ‘Karma Yoga’ Philosophy of the Bhagwat Gita.

In your control are only actions and NOT the outcomes, we flounder whilst we try to control the outcomes of our actions – FAITH is the only answer which can propagate feelings of trust and moving forward.

Seeing the current scenario of the world we are living and abiding by its rules – the mayhem – the fights and frictions amongst populace and countries – the eccentricities , one is bound to think about all the chaos that is happening in this World – by the means of it, we are all bound to have a “Negative” feeling with no hope of revival – The only hope that emerges out of all this tumultuous nature of the world is  the leap of “Faith” that we all have – one day everything shall fall in place and will emerge for our betterment.

Reminiscing our past, this has happened too – think of the times when many of us have gone through this situation – be it in our younger ages – our academic failures and our relationship failures, it seems that there was no world ahead of that happenstance – but you gently and subtly moved one day at a time and overcame that distress – also, think of people in your family whom you lost or got separated due to varied reasons, you still moved on – rather time made you move forward as that is the best thing about it.

As Mr Raj Kapoor – the great Showman of Bollywood quite often stated “The Show must Go on!” – it had a singular meaning – we must move on and we will – time will always do the trick and make us move ahead… one day at a time – the scars will be healed as a subtle remembrance.

Now, as we think about the lived time we adjust and accept the fact that it ought to be that way only and we only reacted quite humanly – things would have happened the way they did…we only reacted….

The cult is to “Let it be..” philosophy as you just cant change scenarios that would happen in your life… live it, accept it and devote yourself to HIS command ..remember you came to this planet not at your own will, nor will you plan your exit… in the middle of your existence don’t control things which you didn’t whilst you came to this world or when you will exit... Let time play games at its own pace and you be at firm peace and apply patience...life will unfold layer after layer with each passing second...!

Trust your Fall, it’s for a Purpose!

Fall is never the result of a failure but an aftermath of knowing something which didn’t materialize and didn’t happen… It will surely convert to opportunities and more of them…as now that one has no respite other than to get up and work hard and show more focus on the “Aim” …now a days that is life…

I keep on observing the aftermaths of a failed venture or a job loss ..it seems to be a devastation and people come to terms with it after some days pass but the efforts double and surely a man is an inquisitive being, people try again and again till the land up with something what they had ever yearned for !

Just recently I had two instances of my near and dear ones when one of my friend after much dedication and hard work of decades was laid out because of his profile redundancy – no wonder, this has become the norm of the day now a days…you keep on listening to much of it as it has become a standard corporate norm – instead he is taking this as a blessing in disguise and has started to explore other avenues – to start up something of his own – may be from home or with a colleague or a friend but he is not going to repent and sulk on this inevitability! – as I called him, he didn’t had that somber mood but surely was not in his good spirits… he has some plans and I guess from his perspective, the time has ripe to execute them….

The second case was more dramatic, after five years of running a small restaurant with his wife and 3 staff, suddenly , my friend saw business dwindling with online orders taking precedence than people coming to his eatery – once he was earning much and had sure shot plans of opening another instance of his restaurant but suddenly the economic activity or call it a sudden surge of online eateries and cloud kitchens , the business dwindled and the restaurant lost its sheen – my friend took this as a blessing in disguise and has now entered the cloud kitchen and online eatery business – “Its very tough BUT Competitive!” – he is not new in this business but is partially into it…

These two instances are a miraculous coincidences that has happened in past one month – surely, India is changing and the economic advantage and disadvantage is playing sport here – there would be souls who would take this changing times as a “Blessing in disguise” and you will get to know that someone started a small business venture with a paltry sum of Say “ 1 Lakh or Rs 50,000” and rose to “10 crores” or so by 2030 and simultaneously gave employment to 50 people – this has been the rule of the game ever. 

If you study the startup journey of big business houses in India and the world, You will get to know that the journey of thousands miles have begun with the FIRST step… I am pretty sure my friends have taken that “First Step” and soon we will see other such souls doing so…as I see the youngsters entering the Job market have NO plans to work for someone for decades as we and our fathers / mothers did….Amen!
