Success as a Failure

We are often told that wealth, fame, and success will bring lasting happiness. Yet, those who reach the top often find a cold truth: it can be deeply lonely at the peak. When applause fades and the pressure builds, high achievement can feel more like a cage than a reward – we can call this as a Paradox of success or these people can be termed as Victims of Succes….

In our current living, It breaks our hearts to see wealthy, successful people struggle with severe depression or even choose to end their lives. We wonder why anxiety captures those who seem to "have it all." The truth is, material success cannot heal an aching soul. The pressure to stay at the top creates immense stress, and high achievers often feel they have no one to talk to.

This deep emotional pain is widespread. In fact, the UK government once appointed a Minister for Suicide Prevention to address this growing crisis. It was a clear sign that money and status alone cannot fix inner sadness—we need a deeper connection to survive and thrive.

Bhagwat Gita has all the answers to our day to day miseries-  To heal from this exhaustion, many people are turning to the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. The Gita teaches us how to drop the heavy burden of expectations and find true joy.

Bhagwat Gita’s famous saying “Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana

Focus on the Journey, Not the Result: In Chapter 2, Verse 47, Lord Krishna gives us the ultimate key to peace:"You have a right to perform your duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions."

When we stop obsessing over winning or losing and simply do our best with love, anxiety vanishes.

Furthermore, one more famous saying “Yo mam pashyati sarvatra sarvam cha mayi pashyati...”- “ You Are Never Alone: In Chapter 6, Verse 30, Krishna reassures us:

"For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost to them, nor are they lost to Me."

True connection doesn't come from followers or fame. It comes from realizing that the Divine is always with you, living right inside your heart.

Today, a quiet revolution is happening. Many people are choosing to step away from the endless rat race, opting for simpler lives with fewer possessions. They aren't giving up; they are choosing inner peace over constant stress. By living the Gita way, we discover that real success isn't about climbing higher—it's about resting happily in the quiet space of our own souls.

Though all of this talk sounds cliched, but ask those who have hit the pinnacle of success and have found it to be truly lonely and empty… from where would you go from what you have seen…you have no friends, foes, family or anyone to talk to…coz you feel totally obsessed by grandeur of success…For sure, one day you will realise this paradox of living and slow down a little and start to live the way our ancient texts described so…till then happy running….
